Spring/Summer 2020: all the jewellery for the coming season
Not just necklaces, earrings and bracelets: on the catwalks of New York, Milan, London and Paris, the latest Spring/Summer 2020 collections for the jewellery world.
Large earrings, tiaras and jewelled headbands will definitely be key players, as in the case of the earrings framing the ear and face proposed by Halpern, studded with delicate feathers that, reminiscent of the tropical world, caress the cheek, or the fabric and rhinestone hat, again by Halpern. Marc Jacobs on the other hand, is offering playful necklaces with stylized puppies and mono-earrings with amusing skeletons to accompany exuberant hats for an original and metropolitan look.
Instead, Kena Netancur proposes long, large-link necklaces in white and yellow gold to go with maxi, synthetic stone earrings. Oscar della Renta is relaunching the ankle bracelet as an elegant and precious accessory to adorn the foot and sandal, as well as maxi slave bracelets with golden insects that appear to be crawling up the arm.
Area is focussing on earrings and necklaces with coloured rhinestone pendants to be accompanied by strass-studded shoulder-pieces, even daring with decorative rhinestone jewellery framing the face like a beard, while Khaite is launching its collaboration with Swarovski by offering crystal jewellery that circles the waist like a delicate belt and the hair with elegant princess-like headbands.
Anna Sui has chosen to re-interpret coral in a yellow and pink bijoux version while the maxi earrings by Prabal Gurung, encrusted with coloured stones and pearls, are surprising: huge and extremely colourful, mainly in plexiglass.
There is really something for everyone!
